Our commitments
"To ensure that in 100 years' time we can all be living a mountain dream, and to face up to the greatest challenge in the history of humanity, we are looking with humility and curiosity at how we can reduce our environmental and social impact and ultimately adapt our business model.
Our vision is of a company that minimises its negative impacts while maximising its positive contribution to society and the planet: we want to become a regenerative company. We started this journey a long time ago, but we need to accelerate our transition.

Our 5-point roadmap
Discover the details of our approach, which we have built around five themes that we work on every day. We're not perfect.
But we can't wait to have all the answers to our questions before taking action. So we're trying, and we're moving forward. Environmental issues are complex, but exciting. Every victory is rewarding. Every tonne of carbon avoided motivates us. Every new issue is a challenge. As you can see, we're motivated to improve and prepare for the unknown.

-
Climate change
To assess and reduce our impact on global warming, we carry out an annual Carbon Footprint. We take into account all the Group's direct and indirect activities to calculate our real impact.
-
Circular economy
We are exploring 3 ways to curb our emissions: product lifespan, recovery and responsible consumption patterns.
-
Pollution
At MMG, we haven't yet found the solution to reducing our microplastic emissions. We recommend washing ‘at risk’ products (fleeces, synthetic sweatshirts) in a dedicated washing bag to recover textile microfibres, or fitting washing machines with specific filters.
We also encourage our employees to favour soft mobility and to carpool for their daily home/work commute. -
Biodiversity
Neither militant nor opportunistic, we have had a sincere, long-term commitment to protecting the environment for over 20 years (in particular through our partnership with Ice & Life 👇).
-
Social
We apply a policy of non-discrimination both in recruitment and in the treatment of our employees and their career development.
Because different people bring richness and creativity to the company, we are committed to encouraging diversity and equal opportunities within our teams.
Through our training policy, we seek to develop the skills of our employees in their current or future roles, and encourage internal mobility.
-
Ethics by MMG
Our environmental charter applies to our suppliers, subcontractors and our own production sites.
We ensure that our ethical and societal charter is respected by all our partners and provide them with a reporting address: ethics@milletmountaingroup.com
The associations we support

We support the ‘82-4000’ association, which promotes access to mountain sports for young people who do not have the means to do so, by providing them with equipment and facilities.

Launched in 2020, the Ice & Life project aims to develop an unprecedented framework for the protection and management of glaciers and post-glacial ecosystems around the world. We have forged a strong partnership with this project, led by scientist Jean-Baptiste Bosson.

Gender equality
Our gender equality index for the period to 2023 is 93/100, broken down as follows:
1 - Pay gap: 33/40
2 - Increase rate differential: 35/35
3 - Increases on return from maternity leave: 15/15
4 - Top management parity: 10/10
